The buzz has already started even though we’re only in March of 2014. Glendale Arizona will host the 49th Super Bowl at the state of the art University of Phoenix Stadium in 2015. It is estimated that around 91,000 visitors came to Arizona for the 2008 Super Bowl, and I’d gamble to say that many of those visitors spent their time in a hotel room. While the Glendale area is still catching up with having sufficient hotel accommodations for large sporting events such as the Super Bowl, there is another viable option. People are looking to rent condos and homes in the Phoenix area because they know it will only serve to enhance their Super Bowl experience and could very well be less expensive in the end.
As a condo owner or homeowner, you may have some questions coming to mind that you would like answered before you put your property out there for strangers to rent during the Super Bowl.
- How do I know how much to charge?
- How do I protect myself and my property from damages?
- Will I have to notify my home insurance company if I rent for a short period of time?
- Will I have to market my property and how would I go about that?
- How will I know what paperwork I need filled out in order to protect myself?
This is just a short list of some of the questions you may have. I’d be happy to assist you with answering them. This is the reason why it is recommended that you deal with someone who is experienced in rentals/corporate rentals so you can be clear on what to expect. Although it could be a boost to your budget, you also have to protect yourself against any liability or damages.
I have been a REALTOR and active in Real Estate & the property rental arena for many years in the Valley. Furthermore, to better support you for the Super Bowl 2015, I have partnered with a Property Management firm and we will both lead you through the entire process, including the rental, the paperwork, procure credit checks and advise you in all areas.
If the renters and the homeowners go into the transaction with everything laid out properly, then it will be an enjoyable experience for everyone.
I will do the marketing for the rental of your property on my website and also on social media platforms. We will bring qualified, legitimate renters to you…I don’t recommend that you use sites such as Craigslist in order to avoid scammers. I also recommend that you consider including a maid service to ensure property is checked, but those are all details we can discuss in more detail.
Below is a list of items I can assist you with:
- Obtaining credit checks;
- Obtaining deposits;
- Prepare contracts;
- Ensure you’re paid in full before tenants arrive;
- Charge Tenants for additional insurance – damage protection.
- Remaining primary point of contact with tenants during the week
- Ensuring that any issues with your home are addressed, timely
Take a moment and view our Flyer that tells more about my Corporate Rentals experience, and Chariot Condominium Rentals. Of course, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. You can also VIEW the interview I did with Chanel 3’s On Your Side about Super BowI rentals for more information.
I look forward to assisting you in procuring a renter for your property during Super Bowl XLIX.
